EVI - smart kitchens

EVI is a Norwegian startup with a vision to build the kitchen of the future, created for socialization, driven by technology and sustainability. The goal was to create a complete digital ecosystem to drive the user journey from the first contact, through a seamless sales process to daily usage.

For EVI's needs, ScaleApp assembled a team of 15 talented individuals. This team, consisting of product designers, architects, developers, software testers, and seasoned scrum masters, was divided into three agile product teams.

The formation of the first squad took a mere two months, and within six months, the entire team was completed. EVI actively participated in the recruitment and decision-making process, ensuring a perfect fit. The team in Kraków was provided with a dedicated office space and worked hand-in-hand with the EVI team in Oslo. Daily exchanges of their shared vision, roadmap, and backlog solidified their collaboration. The product team worked in three interconnected streams, in close collaboration with EVI's Oslo team: Product Website: The team skillfully crafted a visually captivating brand identity for EVI's online presence. Modern animations and stunning 3D models were seamlessly integrated into a responsive solution built upon React and Next.js, powered by the robust Microsoft Azure Cloud. Sales Toolbox: EVI's integrated platform offered a revolutionary way for customers to engage and interact with the brand. This platform streamlined the ordering process by enabling users to design their dream kitchen and fostering efficient communication with interior designers. Customers could explore proposed concepts, confirm their orders, and easily track the progress of production and delivery. IoT and Smart Kitchen Solutions: EVI's innovation extended beyond sales to daily kitchen usage. Their ingenious IoT platform and smart kitchen solutions empowered users with effortless organization and enhanced planning capabilities, contributing to a more sustainable and fulfilling daily life. Together, EVI and their dedicated team worked tirelessly, blending their expertise and creativity to bring the kitchen of the future to life, forever transforming the way people experience the heart of their homes.
